It’s been a little over one year since Custom Login 4.0 was released and pushed to WordPress!
Since the release in August of ’22, there have been 11 bug fix and enhancement releases.
Today, version 4.1.0 has been release which is my first public plugin requiring PHP >= 8.0. With the release of PHP 8.2, a lot of new deprecation are being to show up in error logs across WordPress installs. In order to support PHP 8.2 updates had to be made to some dependence. Many of these dependencies have moved to PHP greater than 8.0. The two important core dependencies are WP Utilities and WpSettingsApi.
